Have you got a Slip Lingerie? A silky thin undergarment goes over your underwear and under dresses and skirts. When I asked a few friends about it recently, none admitted to possessing one, which surprised me.

I've always worn slips, so I'm not sure why more people aren't on board with this fundamental piece. That brings me to my content for today: three reasons to start wearing slippers in the summer.

3 Reasons To Start Wearing Slips In The Summer

1.  Provide Extra Protection-

The major reason I own and use slips is to provide extra protection. When the cloth is too translucent, a small layer underneath is required to provide coverage from my bra and underwear.

2.  Keep Your Clothes Fresh-

Let's face it! We all sweat in the summer. Not just under our arms, either. I don't know others, but I sweat profusely on my back, stomach, and buttocks. It's not cute.

A slip can assist preserve your dresses and skirts in good condition so you can wear them repeatedly without having to send them to the dry cleaners. Wash the slip, and you're done!

3.  Keep A Wardrobe Malfunction At Bay-

Have you ever been wearing a lovely flowing skirt, and a sudden gust of wind comes up, and you're like, "Whoops!" You've shown the entire world your booty.

While not infallible, a simple slip under a skirt or dress with a lot of movement might help you stay covered when the wind or elements have other plans for you and your clothing.
